With the COVDI-19 pandemic and complete lockdown, millions of families have been affected. Vanca being a very responsible organisation has been contributing to the cause. Our founders have been associated with social causes for more than 2 decades. They have been running FTC ( Free Tuition Centres), working with Govt schools and NGOs. In the current crisis they worked very closely with their community, RWA (Residents Welfare Association) and took care of migrant workers, labourers. In the first week of Lockdown – they provided food to more than 500 workers for 7-10 days. They will further be distributing food after a week with support of community and friends.
In this situation, The Vanca as an organisation wants to do this in a more organised and systematic way.
we have come out with the process that you buy a product and we give food to 1 family for 1 day. You can buy more than 1 product and we will support that with equal no of meal for people.

FAQs

• What is 1 day meal for 1 family mean?

It comprises of 1 set of food kit which can be
1kg rice, 1/2 Kg dal, 1/2 kg salt OR
1kg wheat ( Atta), 1/2 Kg dal, 1/2 kg salt )

• How do my purchase get translated into 1 day meal for 1 family?

We collate all orders, all food and then do a wholesale purchase and get this distributed.
Distribution will happen through Vanca family and a registered NGO

• How can I pledge for one family?

You can buy a gift voucher ( 1 Family/day – VANCA- FEED A FAMILY VOUCHER)
They come in denomination of Rs 500 and you can buy as many as you want
You can also purchase Vanca product (51% off) and each product purchase will add to 1 Family /day meal

• How will I get information that the food has been given to the needy?

We will do weekly post of all food delivery that has been done

• When will I get my product ?
Your product will be delivered 1 week after the lockdown ends

• Can I pay – cash, post pay?
You can only do pre-paid purchase ( card, or bank transfer or other means)
No COD, no Post payment is acceptable for this.

• What if I want to cancel my order ?
Once you have purchased the feed voucher – this cannot be refunded
Once you buy a product, it cannot be refunded but can be exchanged within 30 days of purchase

• Can I buy gift vouchers and ensure needy get food
Yes you can – they come in denomination of RS 500 each
