New Year’s Eve is just around the corner and we all know that this is the best time to dress up, trying new looks and get creative with it. So, whatever your plan for the New Year party is – a chill hang out with your gang, a loud and bling-y party at a club, a girl’s night out, a quiet evening with your partner or anything else, here are some suggestions from The Vanca to help you answer the dreaded “What to Wear” question on the biggest celebration night of the year. And don’t fret about arranging your look. It’s not necessary to go for a new dress for THE PARTY OF THE YEAR! Follow our guide and slay the party look this festive season effortlessly.
The Old favourite, LBD
A Little Black Dress can never go out of style. And doesn’t matter how many times you have worn that LBD of yours, you can always create a new look by accessorising it right. Pair it up with gold or silver accessories like statement jewellery, clutches and footwear. Or simply team it up with a glittering, bling, jazzy jacket to create the ultimate party look. If you are not into shiny things, then you can tone down by choosing any festive bright colour like red for your outer layer and footwear to jazz up your look. You may also alter this look by opting for a full black ensemble by wearing a black jacket or over coat with your LBD and pair it up with sparkly jewellery and a bright colour knee length boot for that classy style.
Skinny Pants can never go wrong
Just like LBDs, Skinny pants are another old time favourites and is never out of trend. Play with them in bright colours, choose bold material like leather and team them up with jazzy top-wear or jackets to create that glam chic look. It’s also a good choice if you are going to spend a lot of time during your party outdoors.
The latest styling trick is to match your pants with your shoes. It’s also a secret leg-lengthening look weapon. You can try this look with everything – from a turtleneck (like this J.Crew look in the picture below) for casual house-parties to a shiny, sparkly tank for a night out with your gang!
Give the Jumpsuits a try
A jumpsuit is also an excellent choice for New Year Party outfit. Pair it with a glam jacket and accessories to create that laid back yet chic look or choose a warm and festive colours like Red or orange overall to give a rich taste of dressing and team it up with a little shine at the waist by adding a thin belt. You may also choose styles with sheer lace work on the top/shoulders and sleeves to add the extra-luxe touch. For ultra-glam look wear a jumpsuit in metallic hue.
Dress up with fancy Jackets
Getting dressed up for the party doesn’t mean all you wear must be special occasion stuff too. The trick is pairing up in a way that the result is fancy. Jackets, shrugs, coats, blazers are the best option to change any basic outfit to a glam one. That is why it could be a good idea to look for a fancy product from the jacket family than an entire dress.
